Official Darjeeling Seal

Since 2011 the official Darjeeling tea seal certifies the protected origin status of premium tea coming from Darjeeling. This means real Darjeeling tea can be identified by this seal.

Natural leaves

Darjeeling or not, all natural tea leafs are free of any and all synthetic fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides. Therefore, reducing the impact of tea agriculture on the environment. In addition, when teas are air dried any synthetic elements remain on the tea leafs potentially finding their way into your cup of tea impacting the quality of the tea, and more importantly pose a potential health threat.

Full leaf Tea throughout

We exclusively use full leaf premium tea in our products, resulting in a fuller and more complex taste compared to regular bagged tea. The standard bag teas often contain something called 'tea fannings' which essentially are the leftovers of the plant after higher grades of tea leaves have been collected. These fannings make for a poor quality tea which tends to be bitter in comparison to full leaf teas.
